Campus Assistance Program (CAP)
Working at the TableFor the student, performance can be adversely affected by the challenges of campus life.  Students, many of whom are living away from home for the first time, are often caught between competing demands – their own immediate personal needs, their own academic expectations (and parents’ too), and social pressures.  These daily campus life challenges often cause students to experience increased exhaustion, depression and financial stress from trying to do it all.  It can become too difficult to consistently perform in an efficient and meaningful way – and the resulting unhealthy lifestyle choices can be devastating.

The Campus Assistance Program (CAP) is a voluntary, confidential program providing short term professional counseling and referral services designed to help students with personal and/or family problems that when left unresolved may negatively impact their performance and well being.  CAP helps students to identify, gain control over and resolve these problems that may be interfering with their daily life.
